JACKIE + HUNTER
Find your partner by wearing the biggest pair of sunglasses you can find, once found dress up as Hunter Thompson and Jackie Kennedy . You should create a photo and/or short film and post the following conversation, in character of course, featuring famous lines from your assigned stars/characters.
HUNTER: THE EDGE, there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.”
JACKIE: I am a woman above everything else.
HUNTER: Let us toast to animal pleasures, to escapism, to rain on the roof and instant coffee, to unemployment insurance and library cards, to absinthe and good-hearted landlords, to music and warm bodies and contraceptives… and to the “good life”, whatever it is and wherever it happens to be.”
JACKIE: The children have been a wonderful gift to me, and I'm thankful to have once again seen our world through their eyes. They restore my faith in the family's future.
HUNTER: No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride…and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well…maybe chalk it off to forced conscious expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.”
JACKIE: I’ve always thought of being in love as being willing to do anything for the other person — starve to buy them bread and not mind living in Siberia with them — and I've always thought that every minute away from them would be hell — so looking at it that [way] I guess I'm not in love with you.
HUNTER: “Sex without love is as hollow and ridiculous as love without sex.”
JACKIE: The ring was all blood-stained... so I put the ring on Jack's finger... and then I kissed his hand…
HUNTER: Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
JACKIE: The first time you marry for love, the second for money, and the third for companionship.
“When the going gets weird, the weird turn professional.”
